This is my little corner of the web to give details of our daily lives. Anything goes...I might talk about what we've eaten, where we've gone and any "accidents" the kids might have had. Camping & Scrapbooking will be high on the list of things I talk about. Pretty much anything goes. This is mainly my way of remembering things that we have done. (My memory STINKS) Sometimes I may be boring...other times, I might actually be funny. (Yeah, whatever.)
I don't really remember what we did Wednesday night or Thursday. I know Thursday night we went to church. The two that were supposed to be upstairs with the kids didn't show up. So that left Vince and I doing it. I think from now on...if the people don't show up, they don't go up. They get one more chance (next month). If they don't show up again, they are off the schedule. I also have a kid who has been lying to me every since they started coming to our church. That's nice. Let's just sin IN the House of God. We had another one who kept tripping his baby brother. The little one probably just turned 2. The one tripping him? He's 9. I just want to SMACK them! The rest of the evening went smooth though.
Friday: Grace and I took William to school. I think. lol. To be truthful, I really don't remember.
I did just remember that we went grocery shopping Wednesday night.
What did we do Friday? Geez I can't believe I don't remember. I remember picking William up from school. Grace and I pulled into the parking lot at 2:15 and waiting. We were first in line. Around 2:40 or so I seen Mrs. Miller walking out to the truck. William had gotten sick and we needed to come in and get him. He had puked right beside the trash can...couldn't even make it there. Poor guy. So we loaded up and went home. I made William lay on the couch. I loaded up my scrapbooking stuff and took it down to the Methodist church fellowship hall for Saturday and then came back home. Vince asked if I thought I could scrapbook for 8 hours. I said heavens no. I will run out of either pictures or paper. I think I had fixed enchiladas for supper. William obviously didn't want any. lol. Grace said she didn't, but wound up eating a 1/2 of one.
Saturday:
I got up around 8 and got ready for my day of scrapbooking. I got there a little after 9. They had stuff for breakfast. It took me an hour and a half to do ONE scrapbook page with 3 pictures on it. I couldn't believe it. But in my defense, Paula had brought in a CriCut machine. It is SO COOL!
So I made a BUNCH of titles using this thing and it took me FOREVER to get them taped onto my pages. Especially the first one I had done. I only had it do 1 inch letters and it was a fancy font. They were too small, but I'm not re-doing them now... So that is really what took me so long. I did manage to get 10 pages completely done and was working on 2 more when it was 4:45 and I knew I needed to pack up and head out.
When I got home, I wanted to go to TH and the Indiana Theater and see Happy Feet with the kids. But since William was puking again yesterday, Vince said no. But all hope was not dashed. Vince wanted US to go ahead and go out. So Graham came up and watched the kids while we went to Red Lobster. Oh my it was delicious! Then we went to Victoria's Secret and lastly to Wal-Mart for him some new work gloves.
Sunday:
Sunday we got up and went to church. It was my morning to run the computer, but Randy wanted to do it with me there to get more practice. So of course, I let him. lol! After church, we ordered pizza and went to Graham and Marcy's house. Then we went home and had the kids take a nap. While they were napping, Vince and I worked in the garage cleaning out an area for his dad's old Ford Ranger. I also made reservations for our camping trip with Vince's aunt and cousins in July. We pushed Vince's dad's truck into the garage with our lawn mower. So Vince can start working on it whenever. Then we went in and ate supper, Vince got cleaned up and we went back to church. A new couple was upstairs with the kids. By new I mean they haven't been up with them before. The wife followed my lead so I know the kids were made to mind and that right there is really all that matters to me. I get so tired of them kids walking over the people who are up watching them.
Monday: Grace and I took William to school. Then we headed out. First stop was Burger King just south of I-70 in Brazil. We waited a good 5 mintues and no one waited on us (although 2 people seen us there), so we left. We went to McDonald's that is actually IN Brazil. After we ate there, we went to the courthouse and paid our property taxes. It was starting to rain when we walked in the building. Then we headed to TH. It was raining a little harder on our way there. We stopped at the union hall and paid Vince's working assessments and the rest of the year's union dues. Then we met Vince at JC Penneys. We exchanged a couple of pairs of jeans for William and then headed to Vinctoria's Secret again. I found a coupon for $10 off their Secret Embrace bra and a free pair of VS Cotton panties. I walked out of there Saturday with 5 pair of cotton panties. Today I walked out with a VS Angel Secret Embrace bra and matching panties and the free pair of panties too. MAN does that bra feel good! lol! Then we walked around the mall and little bit. Then we went to Wal-Mart again. Grace wanted a toy. We bought her a pair of shin guards Saturday night. Today, we bought her a pair of soccer shoes as well as the doll she picked out. William has been asking for the Land Before Time 12 movie so that is what we got him. Then we headed home. I had bought myself a new purse so I transferred the stuff from my old one into the new one. The new one came with a wallet so I transferred all that too. Then I took the time to update our checkbook with all the receipts I had laying around. I really need to quit that and keep it more up-to-date.
Vince is talking about getting the kids a 4 wheeler which I am TOTALLY against. We both thought it was ridiculous when kids our kids's age got them for Christmas. I STILL think they are too young. But anyway, we left the house around 2:10 or so and went by the place in town that sells them. They weren't open. lol! So we headed to the school parking lot to wait for William. We were first in line. I was surprised that no one pulled in behind us until after 2:45. Usually, if you aren't there by 2:30, you might as well park and walk up to the doors.
When William got in the car, I handed him a piece of paper that said, Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, For another clue, look in Mommy's shoe. When we got home, I made him wait until I got my camera. Then I had him pretend he was reading the note so I could take a picture. Then he found the shoe that had the next clue. It said, Roses are red, daffodils are yellow, now go look on your pillow. I took a picture of him reaching in my shoe and another of him reading the note. Then he RAN into his room. I took a picture of him climbing up his ladder and another of him reading the note which said. Roses are red, grass is green, now go look in your black jeans. He ran in there and just about never seen the movie. When he picked up his jeans in such a hurry, the movie fell out. But I got a couple of pictures there as well. Grace and I had planned this after we got home. When I handed William his first note though...she was ticked that SHE wasn't getting to go on a treasure hunt. So I made up some poems for her. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, For another clue, look in Daddy's shoe, Brown is your hair go look in Mommy's computer chair and lastly something was yellow go look on your pillow and I had the doll that we had gotten for her (that she was already playing with) on her pillow. And I took bunches of pictures of her too. So those will make cute scrapbook pages.
I didn't mention...Vince said I could get the big creative memories wheeled tote. I can't remember it's name, but I'm so excited!!! Except for the $110 plus tax part. But I do believe all my stuff will fit inside it. I need to edit my Christmas Wish list and put some of the accessories on my list!
We had chicken nuggests and french fries for supper. Well, Grace had rice krispie treat cereal. Then we headed to town for a viewing. The lady my mom had been helping Hospice take care of passed away on Saturday. She looked like an angel to me. She really looked great..for a dead person. Usually, they don't really look like themselves and look terrible. Not her. Anyhoo. My mom is still doing to go over and check on the old man (he's actually related to me through my dad somehow) and make sure he is eating, etc. Hospice is still supposed to come and check on him. His wife's funeral was today at 11.
Aunt Stella is unable to help us with the kids this week. Marcy is coming up of the mornings and getting the kids off to school. Then my mom is getting them from school and keeping them until one of us gets home. Tonight she's really getting her work in...both kids needs baths, especially William since we have a pack meeting tonight. My mom will have them all day Friday as well because Marcy has to work at the daycare.
I think that is all I have for the past 4 days. If there are more...it's done forgotten.
