I'm one proud Momma!

Grace is doing well in preschool. We've been working with her with ABC flash cards. She recognizes all at first sight except for i, k and y. She counts high enough to meet the Kindergarten requirements. She can do all of those, but... I have decided that we will be keeping her out of school next year and send her to preschool again. Her preschool teacher says that she is ready academically. But last year, I watched a little girl in William's class that was almost a full year younger than her peers. She would get so frustrated when she couldn't do what they could. I spoke with her mom this year and she is struggling again this year with phonics. I'm just not going to do that to Grace. Plus...I don't want boys asking her out when she's a 15 year old Sophmore. I was 16 as a sophmore. Peer pressure will be bad enough with her being a full year younger....

We are also getting ready to sign them both up for Spring Soccer. William can't wait. =)
